CEREC® One Visit Dentistry
The CEREC System provides us with a superior method of creating precisely designed, color-matched, and highly durable ceramic restorations. This allows us to efficiently create fillings, full crowns, and more, while delivering the results you need in a single appointment.
Diode Laser Soft Tissue Surgery
Our Diode dental laser allows us to treat many gum issues, previously only treatable by traditional periodontal surgery. Unlike periodontal surgery, Diode laser treatments are much less invasive and can achieve similar results.
With the Invisalign® system, you are able to gradually, subtly straighten your teeth without others noticing. This orthodontic treatment uses a series of clear, custom, removable aligners to shift your teeth and make adjustments to the tooth position. Invisalign® treatment usually lasts for 12 months and has minimal impact on your daily routines, diet, and lifestyle.
Do you hate gooey impression material? We do too! We now offer digital scanning to achieve instant online 3D models of your teeth. A small wand is placed in your mouth and run across all your teeth to capture images. We can use these images for Invisalign, night guards, implants, and many other procedures.
There are many benefits to this technology. With digital x-rays, less radiation is needed to produce high-quality images. Because the images can be evaluated immediately on a large flat-screen monitor, dangerous chemicals are not needed to create an exposure. With such a large image, it is easier to detect any problems, and the patient can see and understand what is happening with their teeth.
Drill-less Dentistry/Air Abrasion
This technology helps us avoid the use of needles and an uncomfortable numb feeling for patients. Because it removes the smallest possible amount of tooth structure, it enables our dentists to place strong, natural-looking restorations in a matter of minutes. Air abrasion involves the use of a special hand piece that creates a beam of abrasive particles propelled by a stream of clean, dry air. It is effective for small, early-stage cavities, stain removal, repairing small chips, and repairing or replacing fillings.
A picture is worth a thousand words – especially in dentistry! Dr. Curia uses small cameras right inside your mouth to take highly magnified digital photos of your teeth. These photos can be displayed on a computer screen for both patient and doctor, and are invaluable in diagnosing and recording dental problems. They provide a window into your special care. Intra-oral photos also allow our patients to view what the dentist sees when they are evaluating your teeth.
